With summer fast approaching that means festival season! However, before we release the line up for Centennial Park we’re throwing a launch party like no other. This daytime party is a complete Ivy takeover – that means the Courtyard-Den-Pool you name a level there will be DJs playing underground house and techno for this very special one off launch of the festival.

DUBFIRE

Techno is in the air for this one! We’re bringing back the CODE stage from last January with DUBFIRE performing an exclusive three hour set on the gargantuan Funktion One Sound System. His closing set at Electric Gardens is still being talked about, not to mention a show stealing performance at Coachella in April. More recently he was selected by the legendary Carl Cox to play B2B at the big man’s last ever birthday celebration at Space Ibiza!

MATADOR LIVE

Supporting Dubfire and making his Australian debut T1000 Events welcomes MATADOR LIVE. This talented producer has taken the techno world by storm. The Irishman’s initial break came on Hawtin’s Plus 8 and since that day Matador became a regular fixture on the Minus line ups around the world. He went on to debut at the revered Watergate in Berlin then performed at a multitude of Minus events including a residency that summer at Enter in Space, Ibiza. This also led to various festival invitations with visits to Monegros, Balaton Sound, Time Warp, Creamfields Argentina, Melt Festival, BPM, Exit Festival, Movement Detroit and many more in just a few short years.

In short, if you are a techno lover Matador Live is an artist whose performance you cannot afford to miss.

David Morales added to the lineup! One of the greatest house DJs of all time will join us to play ivy poolside. David Morales is considered by many to be one of the first true superstar DJ’s. David is also known as one of the most versatile DJs currently on the scene. Whether it is playing a pool party in Miami or DJ’ing in an edgy European club, Morales ability to adapt to each situation is legendary.

Morales started with Chicago legend Frankie Knuckles when house music exploded around the world. A regular at The Paradise Garage with Larry Levan, he has gone on to be a Gammy winner. One of the most prolific remixers of all time with over 500 releases for artists including Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Whitney Houston and Jamiroquai, to name a few.
