SIGMA
Establishing themselves as one of Britain’s biggest electronic music exports, multi-platinum selling DJ and production duo Sigma (aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie) were the only group in 2014 to have back-to-back UK No.1 singles in the form of ‘Nobody To Love’ and ‘Changing’ (featuring Paloma Faith).
Since their breakthrough club crossover (iconic Drum & Bass record ‘Rudeboy’), the London pair have gone on to enjoy 10 consecutive Radio 1 playlist singles (no other act has enjoyed as many UK national radio playlists), sold over 600,000 copies of their debut album ‘LIFE’, and performed at the likes of Brixton’s O2 Academy, Glastonbury and EDC Las Vegas.
With the pair bringing their rich chord patterns and melodic baselines to numerous festivals and events in 2018, including SW4, Creamfields, various Ibiza slots at Amnesia’s ‘Together’, Sigma’s massive return marks an exciting new chapter in the musical careers of one of dance music’s most exciting and innovative duos.
Catch them performing a very special closing set, with full production, singers and MC on the main stage at Electric Gardens in Sydney and Perth!
Erick Morillo
We welcome back 2016 Electric Gardens party-starter and Colombian-American electro-house producer Erick Morillo for another epic set where he is sure to mix all genres of musical madness, raising set standards to a whole other level. The fluidity on the decks is fashioned from being a platinum-selling artist, Subliminal Records presenter, and 20 years orchestrating the best global parties from New York to Miami and Ibiza. You’ll be on your feet when he drops ‘I Like To Move It, ‘Believe’, and ‘I Feel Love’ amongst surprising classical dance combinations.
Bag Raiders (Live)
This team of talented Aussie ‘stars’ shot overseas after ‘Shooting Stars’ catapulted them to international acclaim. Returning to Australia to make their very special hometown appearance are multi-instrumental musicians Bag Raiders, who will tour live with Electric Gardens nationally. Revellers will be able to get a world-first, sneak peak of their latest floor-filling new album, poised for release in 2019, and a decade of musical innovation since that infamous track.
Set Mo feat. Woodes, Asta & Thandi Phoenix
Local legends and Sydney natives Nick Drabble and Stu Turner of Set Mo make good by joining our all-star line-up, riding a high across massive sold-out festivals Splendour, Harbourlife, Field Day and now with a place on the Electric Gardens main stage. To top off this mammoth touring party, they’re bringing a very special line-up of vocalists, including Woodes, Asta and Thandi Phoenix (dependent on State). Known for their relentless ‘Stamina Sessions’ tour, and producing infectious tunes on the monthly, make sure to join them for a huge dance when ‘White Dress’, ‘I Belong Here’ and ‘Nightmares’, go off live on stage.
