ELECTRIC GARDENS – ADELAIDE – FRI 27 JAN 2019

THEBARTON THEATRE, ADELAIDE

PAUL VAN DYK

Prolific, Grammy-nominated DJ, producer and techno incubator, Paul Van Dyk has been shaping trance for over 20 years with timeless tracks ‘For An Angel, ‘ Perfect Day’ and ‘Love Stimulation’. He circles the globe 16 times a year to perform and play to mega crowds, and this year he is touching down just in time for the summer season at the Electric Gardens’ trance tent.

A performer with a natural and instinctive stage touch, from the 20th anniversary commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall, to shows at Cream Amnesia (Ibiza), touring with Armin van Buuren, Underworld and The Blueman Group, and racking up UK DJ Mag ratings of 9+ on mastered tracks, this man’s music is guaranteed to make you move.

Over the last five years, Paul has moved away from being a conventional ‘mixing-two-tracks’ DJ towards creating a hybridized live-on-stage, concert-like approach to his shows. Don’t miss the master at work in Perth this Summer.

ERICK MORILLO

We welcome back 2016 Electric Gardens party-starter and Colombian-American electro-house producer Erick Morillo for another epic set where he is sure to mix all genres of musical madness, raising set standards to a whole other level.  The fluidity on the decks is fashioned from being a platinum-selling artist, Subliminal Records presenter, and 20 years orchestrating the best global parties from New York to Miami and Ibiza. You’ll be on your feet when he drops ‘I Like To Move It, ‘Believe’, and ‘I Feel Love’ amongst surprising classical dance combinations.

EATS EVERYTHING

English-bred Eats Everything brings his bass-heavy dynamisms to this year’s bill of international heavyweights. The Bristol-born DJ is the finest in house and techno, named by DJ Magazine as ‘Best British DJ’.

Playing the likes of Coachella, Awakenings Festival and Movement in Detroit, the seasoned Ibiza resident’s set will be a layered range of house, disco and techno to discerning taste – the sound that has cemented his legendary status within Elrow family globally.

Bag Raiders (Live)

This team of talented Aussie ‘stars’ shot overseas after ‘Shooting Stars’ catapulted them to international acclaim. Returning to Australia to make their very special hometown appearance are multi-instrumental musicians Bag Raiders, who will tour live with Electric Gardens nationally.  Revellers will be able to get a world-first, sneak peak of their latest floor-filling new album, poised for release in 2019, and a decade of musical innovation since that infamous track.

Set Mo feat. Asta & Thandi Phoenix

Local legends and Sydney natives Nick Drabble and Stu Turner of Set Mo make good by joining our all-star line-up, riding a high across massive sold-out festivals Splendour, Harbourlife, Field Day and now with a place on the Electric Gardens main stage. To top off this mammoth touring party, they’re bringing a very special line-up of vocalists, including Woodes, Asta and Thandi Phoenix (dependent on State). Known for their relentless ‘Stamina Sessions’ tour, and producing infectious tunes on the monthly, make sure to join them for a huge dance when ‘White Dress’, ‘I Belong Here’ and ‘Nightmares’, go off live on stage.
